I don’t get too many January weddings, and it’s a shame really as the light in January can be very lovely indeed. Tam and Chris were lucky enough to have one such day for their January Ribble Valley wedding at the stunning Eaves Hall near Clitheroe. My first wedding of what looks set to be a very busy 2014 was a thoroughly gorgeous affair. The day started for me with Tam and her closest family and friends getting ready in the hall’s lodge house before heading up to the hall itself to find Chris and his family and friends. Eaves Hall itself is avenue full of character and charm, and with Christmas decorations still on show, this was made only more so.
The ceremony room was a shimmering, beautiful sight, and it all looked amazing as Tam entered the room on her dad’s arm to the sound of the live pianist.
The drinks reception was followed by the wedding breakfast and speeches, and then a ceilidh as the evening guests arrived. The final Tour de Force was a totally unexpected winter sunset and fireworks to say goodnight.
