I love that Sara & Keith chose to have a very small and intimate family wedding in Lancaster this April. Just 9 guests and myself. The ceremony was at The Georgian House (or Lancaster Register Office), which is where 10 years ago this September Mrs Beanphoto and myself had our own wedding, so it’s always lovely to be back and see the familiar faces there. The ceremony was followed by a quick trip up the road to The Storey (or Storey Creative Industries Centre to give it’s full name), another place I know well, having spent some years working there during my time working at the Lancaster Literature Festival. The Storey gardens are not yet fully open to the public, but they provide a really lovely, secluded, walled garden setting, in the centre of the city, for taking some formal and informal photos of the wedding party. Again, a fave place of mine, as it’s where we had our own wedding snaps done!
My services were only called on for a few hours photography on the day, before they sat down for afternoon tea, but sometimes that’s all you need…
I’ve just had a look at the photos, it took some building up to as I was a bit nervous about them… However, they are spectacular! You’ve made the event look very beautiful. You are very talented and I’m so pleased I asked you.”
