Retrotastic!

Last weekend was one of those rare chances to take a weekend off without any wedding or portrait jobs on – the calendar had been cleared to take Mrs Beanphoto (aka one half of Itsy Bitsy Vintage) on an outing to The York Festival of vintage for some vintage inspiration and fun. We picked up her lovely twin sister on the way and were joined in York by neighbours, Jane and Patrick. Of course a weekend off for me does not mean no picture taking! Good god no!
So here are some off duty photo treats from the trip for you to savour…

C’mon who doesn’t appreciate a gorgeous vintage car..?

Back in the 80’s (in my college days) my flat looked a bit like this, 50’s fabrics and furniture everywhere – why did I ever get rid of it?

And it’s not hard to spot I have a bit of a thing for retro mannequins too!

Swing Commanders were fab! Hoping I will get to see them in Morecambe shortly. I opted for the bird’s eye view!
