Earlier this year I launched a new strand to my business – training. It was a bit of a return to my earlier days in Photography, when I taught History of Photography to foundation level students. I loved it, but it was short lived as we moved home after a year and my career took a different path. So it’s a nice feeling to return to an old passion.
So far I’ve just added two workshops, one for small groups and one to one sessions for those who prefer a more personal approach. If all goes well I plan to do more.
Workshops: The “Getting to know Your DSLR” workshops are a great way to understand some of the complexities of your camera. Aimed at beginners and improvers, these are practical and easy to follow days with groups of no more than 5 people, so you won’t feel lost in the crowd.
If you have a DSLR but feel lost in all the menus and just want to get better pictures, this is the workshop for you.
These workshops also make an ideal gift for the photography lover in your family.
Workshops are currently available for Jan and Feb 2018 and booking is just £75 for a full day.
One 2 One tuition: If you prefer a more personal way of learning, you can opt instead for one of my One 2 One tuition sessions. One 2 One sessions are just that, just you and me. We could cover the basics of your camera, portraiture, composition, how to shoot a wedding etc or we could just go out together for a day for some practical, hands-on training as you shoot. The choice is entirely yours. I can tailor the day to cover the things you want help with.
Book a One 2 One session and we will work out the content of the day and arrange a date to suit you. Sessions are at the bargain price of just £150.
Again, these sessions make a unique and ideal gift for the photography lover in your life.
All training takes place at my home in central Morecambe. Easy access and on-street parking is available. A light lunch is included in the day.
