One Man Band Shebang!

Lomokino CameraLast summer, I took my lovely Lomokino camera, an analogue hand-cranked movie camera that shoots short, creative movies on 35mm film onto the streets of Morecambe for the One Man Band Shebang – a brilliant one day festival of One Man Bands organised by Pete Moser (Artistic Director of More Music), the acknowledged ‘world’s fastest one man band’.

I shot 3 rolls of film, but so far have only gotten around to developing one of the rolls, so for now, and until I get the rest developed, here’s a taster of the day…

The film is being shown to accompany the Morecambe Artist Colony “One Man Band Shebang” exhibition at The Hothouse in Morecambe.

The exhibition captures the spirit and fun of the One Man Band Shebang in some amazing photographs by Graham Wynne, a brilliant photographer who has worked with More Music over the years as a musician and photographer. The show also includes films by Tom Lloyd and others.

Opening Event, Friday 16 February 6.30pm with… you guessed it… a One Man Band Cabaret!
Exhibitions are shown upstairs at More Music which is open on weekdays from 10am – 5pm
