Carnforth Heritage Centre anniversary brochure 2013

Posted on

Last spring I had the great pleasure of photographing a 1940’s style birthday party at Carnforth Heritage Centre. It was a job I did as a favour for my wife who was establishing her new business Itsy Bitsy Vintage. All the guests looked great and I had a fantastic time shooting everyone in the 1940s style station – the home of the classic British film Brief Encounter.
I sent some pictures to the station master thinking they might like to use one or two for promotional purposes. Just before Christmas they contacted me to say they  loved the pictures and asked if I was interested in designing the new brochure for their anniversary year! I told them I wasn’t a designer but if they were happy for me to work with a friend who was, then I was pretty sure I could do something a bit different for  them.
Earlier this month the brochure went to print and has now hit the streets.
I’m really pleased with it. My designer pal Anat has done a fine bang up job! I think it looks fantastic!
