Rachel and Barry are such a lovely, unassuming couple, and their big day was a perfect reflection of their personalities that it was impossible not to come away feeling more than a little touched by their tenderness. The rain that followed me from Lancaster gave way as I pulled into Inskip where the day started for me at Rachel’s parental home, little more than a stones throw away from the charming St. Peter’s Church.
I went next to find Barry, best man and groomsmen welcoming the guests without a speck of nerves on show.
Rachel and bridesmaids arrived in style, in a beautiful, vintage Morris Minor.
After the service we all moved on to The Villa in Wrea Green, such a lovely venue for a Lancashire country wedding.
I loved the relaxed fireside feel to the speeches, and Rachel’s tables had some really pretty details going on.
Lovely day guys, best wishes to you both X
