“Imagine I’m like a good friend who just happens to be pretty darned good with a camera..!”
I love shooting weddings, they are unique and wonderful days that deserve capturing and preserving for yourselves and your future families. It can be tempting these days when everyone has access to good quality cameras to think you don’t need a professional to photograph your day, but photographing weddings requires a lot more than a good camera. They require planning, training, a great observational eye, good people skills, technical knowledge, back up equipment and a lot of experience. Only when you have all these, can you make it look easy!
All my clients are individuals and it’s my aim to reflect that individuality in your wedding photos.
I’ve been shooting weddings professionally since 2004, but I was doing them for friends and family for almost 20 years before that! With a Degree in Photography and all that experience under my belt, I can confidently say your photos will be in safe hands.
Your wedding is your day, I am there to record what happens, not to direct it, but quietly capturing the emotions of the day in a natural, candid way.
After many years shooting full day weddings, I am now concentrating on shorter wedding jobs for couples who are still looking to have great memories of their day, but maybe don’t feel the need to have a photographer around for the larger part of the day. So I’m happy to take enquiries for weddings between 2 and 5 hours maximum. And the quirkier the better! Please contact me to make an enquiry about dates or prices. My minimum is 2 hours (at £350 plus travel if not local to Morecambe/Lancaster area).
