Final adjustment | Moments

29th October 2014 by Johnny Bean

Pete & Tessa’s wedding at Lancaster Town Hall, had a great many special (unscripted) moments in it, but this shot of Pete, his best man and guests just prior to the bride entering the room, always tickles me. It’s a great expression on Pete’s face, sure, but it’s more than that. It’s the personal interaction that’s going on, the best man adjusting the groom’s tie, whilst a family member watches, amused, the body language, the shapes of all the legs and arms and the looks of the guests behind. And in the confines of the august and hallowed oak-clad chambers of the Town hall it raises a smile. I just love it!
